Keep on pushing

Motivators!!!  Today I want to talk about NEVER QUITING.  Whatever your goals are, write them down, hang 'em up and let everyone know.  The more people that know, the more accountable you are to reach those goals.  Be proud of the goals you set.  If your goal is to eat healthier, keep a journal...if your goal is to exercise more, get a workout buddy...if your goal is to be happier, help a stranger...if your goal is to be the best you can be, volunteer.  Whatever your goal, never give up on it.  There are gonna be days where you literally want to just say screw it, I'm throwing in the towel, give me the whole gallon of ice cream, or I'm not working out today, you run without me, or you pass up the opportunity to help a less fortunate person on the street because your in a crappy mood.  You never know who is smiling because you smile, you never know who is exercising because you are their motivation, you never know who is loosing weight because your eating right!  You never know who's life your impacting until it's to late and your already finished changing.  Live each day knowing that your being happy and helping others.  You should eventually reach a point where you help people and don't even know it, yet you continue to motivate and reach out.  Never quit dreaming, never quit achieving.  You never know who's else life has changed because of the goals that you have set.  So please...stay motivated and live, love and laugh!!!

Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world. Set a goal and don't quit until you attain it. When you do attain it, set another goal, and don't quit until you reach it. Never quit.

Your My Best Friend

Been away for awhile, but I'm back!  One thing that I keep telling my friends is to be happy.  Happiness for me comes from my friends and family.  I know that they are always there for me.  Find your true friends and keep them close.  True friends are ones that will laugh and joke with you but when you need that alone time serious conversation, they will stop what they are doing to listen.  True friends will not belittle you in front of others to make themselves seem cool.  True friends will not change who they are to fit in and be popular.  True friends stick to their roots and their values even though they are in the minority.  If you have one of these friends, reciprocate the favor and be one back.  That's the best way to be happy.  Having those people that you can trust and just enjoy being around.  I know who mine are, who are yours?
A true friend is one who overlooks your failures and tolerates your success!

I gotta be me

To everyone out there that reads this...good evening!  I know that this blog is not fancy or popular, but that's not the point.  The point isn't to see how many people will follow this blog or how popular it gets...the point is the help me be motivated and that occasional person that stumbles along to get motivated.  That is also how you should live your life.  For yourself, and if you help others throughout, awesome.  What I mean by this is that you should do what makes you most happy and brings you joy.  Do not let others tell you that you are too happy or what you are doing is just not right so you should stop.  Most of the time, they wish they were where you are and since they are not, they'll just try to bring you down to their level.  Do not let this happen!  Live, Love and be happy!!
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

You are in control

Today is one of those days where you just really want to go to your room, turn off all ways of communication and just hide.  When you try to be up, there is someone there to bring you down.  When you are trying to be joyful, there is someone there to bring hate.  I have come to realize that no matter how you are acting there will always be those people that I believe are jealous.  They wish they could enjoy life as much as you are, they wish they could do the things you do and have the motivation that you have.  But since they can't, they'll settle with trying to bring you way down to their level.  This is where you need to look them in the eye and say "not me, you can't bring me down."  Then, walk away and stay happy and peaceful.  That's when you've won.  When everything or everyone tries to bring sadness or depression into your life, you smile and laugh while walking away, why, because you are the master of your life!  No one controls you except you.  Stay motivated!
Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.

A new week...a new start

Alright!!  For me it's the weekend, hey I just worked the actual weekend so shh.  All of you who aren't like me and are actually starting your work week today, good luck!  I mean it.  Make a goal this week to help a random person.  It can be anything from holding a door for someone or even buying your officer coffee.  Whatever you do, you need to make sure that you do it for the love of helping others, not the attention.  It is when we help others that we are truly at our best, and you will feel so much better.  It will make the week start off fantastically.

Recap: Goal of the week; help a random person.

day 2

I do bid ye all good morning!!!  Today is the last day of work before I earn a day off...Work is one of those things that you should wake up happy to go to, love the people you work with but be anxious to go home from!  Now we all know that sometimes we just don't want to be at work, and if you ever feel this way, put on a good show for those around you.  If you seem happy and act happy, everyone's mood brightens, and you are more likeable!!  So always put a smile on your face and show others that no matter what, life is so GOOD!

day 1

Good morning to all!  So, it's the weekend which means absolutely nothing to me as I am working it!!  It's been a crazy week but you always need to look back and find the positives each day and each week.  For me it was my Captain coming up to me asking me if I would not mind running in a 200 mile relay race.  This is pretty awesome to hear when an officer asks you to be a part of something!  So now it is time to hit the pavement even harder and prepare.  Always keep yourself ready mentally and physically, you never know when a random opportunity is going to come knocking!!  Stay strong and enjoy the weekend...whether your working or off!!

intro.

We all need that one thing each day that gives us the opportunity to lay back, relax and reflect on our life.  With my work schedule it is hard for me to get out in town and motivate people and help or volunteer so I figured I can try to do it through the internet!  So each day, I'll post a quote and a picture to help get us through the day.  It may be a suck it up and move on quote or it may be a Bible quote.  Just the "little things" that we should take in.  And if this helps but one person, it has been a success in my book!  Now a little background on me:
My name is Zach and I'm living in Quantico VA.  I am currently stationed here as I do my time in the Marines.  I love the Lord so my blog will be centered around Him and His glory!  I am enrolled at Liberty University and hope to one day earn my degree in education.  Since I am a military member, my love of all Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, Sailors, Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters and Medics is very strong.  Hopefully this blog finds you well and can give that little boost you may need today.
